Putra Prapti , Horoscope and Hariharaputran

For some obvious reasons... I had stopped looking Horoscopes for the past one year.. except for very few cases.... The main reason was when one of our family friend insisted me to see a horoscope regarding child birth... 

Even for getting a remedy - one's Karma has to permit him... 

In Bharata desham, birth of a child has always been a priority after marriage. After almost 10 years of marriage, and almost all the "Professional" astrologers have discouraged them. 

Analysing a horoscope for child birth has to be done very accurately... Most of the astrologers fail to differentiate between Childlessness and delay in Child birth.

Immediately a Sarpa Shanti is suggested by them.... And what people generally do is perform a puja at Kalahasti or visit Tirunageswaram and start complaining again.

And delay in child birth may be due to the bad influence of any of the nine grahas... First this has to be identified... only after this pariharam has to be suggested. Not every childlessness is connected to Naaga dosha.

Sarpa Dosha is caused due to various reasons.. One cannot simply generalize this... This occurs due to the wrath of the Serpent in previous birth. Due to Sarpa dosha, marriages may be delayed, Progeny may be denied and/or  miscarriages will occur. There are many varieties of Sarpa dosham. Based on this the parihara has to be decided. For most of the cases a simple pushpanjali (on appropriate place and time) would solve the entire issue... 

Yet another  important fact is, the devatas who actually control the navagrahas... For example to please (Chevvai) Mars, without pleasing Subramanya one cannot get 100% result and get the problem resolved.

And coming back to our case.. A lot of issues were present in both the horoscopes and something struck me... I closed the horoscope and returned it... My only suggestion was to fall at the feet of "My beloved". A Lord who can cause fear even to the Prarabdham... 

An archana for Lord Maha Sastha at a specific Sasthru kshetram  - for seven consecutive weeks. I suggested to light the lamp at their home during the same time (when the archana is done) and pray to the Lord earnestly to grant a putra prapti...

Sastha is the only God who promises Putra praapti even in His moola mantram

Calculating the Time of death - Jyothisham

From Sunday to Tuesday - incidentally or accidentally 3 different persons asked me the same query regarding predicting their time of death.

Ofcourse every human being has to meet a dear friend called Mruthyu one day. DEATH IS THE BIRTH RIGHT OF MAN. Death is a very natural process and once you know the date of death, your life becomes miserable.

I have almost slowed down predicting horoscopes. And even when I do it, I just take up cases -only to those who need an immediate helping hand. Though Iam not going to answer their queries directly, I thought of sharing few ideas of astrology - just to tell that it is possible to ascertain the date of death.

Each chart has some rasis and planets that are called marakas (killers). Since death is an event relating to the physical existence, these marakas take an important role in executing it.

Based on the power of these Maraka planets, the death of a person is ascertained. There are three kinds of life spans, viz. short, medium, and long. Short life is before 32 years, later on up to 64 it is medium life, and from 64 to 100 it is long life.

So within this stretch - a persons end may approach based on the strong influence of Maraka planets.

If a person has a weak horoscope and his life span is short, he may face death in the respective Dasha and Bhukti of Maraka planets. If his life span is medium there will be diseases, miseries etc. in the respective Dasha and Bhukti. This necessarily need not be death - it may bring distress or diseases equal to death. Thus there may be death or difficulties.

But if there are many Marakas (endowed with the power of killing) and be strong, he may face death in the respective Dasha and Bhukti and on the specific stars and specific day of the week.

The 3rd and 8th houses are the houses of life. The 3rd house shows the vitality of one’s existence and the 8th house shows the longevity. If the 3rd house is occupied by a benefic, death will be in an auspicious place (like a shrine) and if by a malefic in sinful places. Consciousness will prevail at the time of death if Jupiter or Venus be in the 3rd. With others therein, there will be unconsciousness before death.

A Humble request :

After telling all this - My humble request is rather than thinking about death, contemplate on the Lotus feet of your ishta devata and Gurunatha.

Apart from all these - the fear of death is the most dreadful thing than the actual death itself. We witness the pitiable state of many persons being bedridden for a pronged time and not ready to quit the world- this is because of their fear of death and pseudo attachment to the body. When this is broken their eternal journey starts immediately. This Iam talking out of practical experience. Rather than undergoing the suffering in this mundane world, it is actually a relief for them to accept the reality and break the Karmic bondage and prepare them for the relief.

It is said one person can get manthira upadeesham, deeksai or gnana only if his horscope (jaadhagam) has a provision for that.. Is this correct?

Let me first give you the simple answer -

When a person will enter into Gnana Marga ie the path to wisdom ? Is it because of horoscope ?

Not exactly.... the horoscope infact reflects the purva punyas you have accumulated.. so if you have a provision for Gnana its because of the Purva punya.

But please understand - for upadesham or deeksha the primary qualification is Guru's grace.. And again Guru is not a supernatural person with Orange robe or one who gives you viboothi from air.. He may appear like a very ordinary man; Even the age, position or status is not a criteria. But once you have given a position as your Guru, please understand - He is your GOD.

You need not doubt; or rather should not doubt.

And this will happen again only if your Horoscope is in such a way that you are inclined towards this idea.

Based on the Lagnadhipati and the Lord of the Fifth house you may get Mantra upadesham and which will in turn lead you to the ultimate Goal.

Only One among lakh people get the ripe time, mentality and situation for getting the Gnana from the Guru.
According to the science of astrology, this is a very rare case and may happen to a person during his Kethu Dasa.  When there are malefic planets in the Eighth and the Twelfth houses, this may further lead him to the next level. ie getting fedup with the samsara - family life


Generally it is evident that most of the Maha Purushas or Matra Siddhas have got upadesham and turning points only during the influence of Kethu.


Kethu is the Gnana Kaaraka and he is the only graha who will teach you what is what. Only his influence will exactly lead you to the Gnana Marga.
