SRI SASTHA SHAT CHAKRA KSHETRA PUJA
15-06-2019

The devotee who seeks the darshan of Lord Sastha, our most beloved God, no doubt finds Him at all of His temples. But those who really want to "realise" him, there are six Kshetrams within oneself and also outside as separate temples.

The destinations of this journey is identified with the each Kundalini Chakra . The significance goes beyond the list of the temples in specified order. There is metaphysical meaning, too. Yogis of yore determined that each temple stimulates a specific chakra in the subtle body of man. What is felt internally by Yoga is seen externally in these temples.

Each temple bestows internal awakening and external blessings to the devotees who worship the devatha in that bhaava. Both material upliftment  and Spiritual progress is assured. What is  sought -is given by Lord Sastha.

1. Mooladhara Kshetra Puja Muthayyan Kovil
2. Swadhishtana Kshetra Puja Achan Kovil
3. Manipooraka Kshetra Puja Aryankavu
4. Anahatha Kshetra Puja Kulathupuzha
5. Vishuddi Kshetra Puja Erumeli
6. Agnya Kshetra Puja Sabarimala

Replica of all these temples are to be re-created at Coimbatore by our Sangam for our Sastha Preethi Mahotsavam as Shat Kshetra Puja.

A special puja to worship all these Shat Kshetrams is to be conducted at one single  place at Coimbatore. This would happen only by the divine grace and which would grant the devotees with Wealth, Health and long life, Happiness, Progeny, Strength and Courage, Success  and the Ultimate Bliss.

It will be a  soul-stirring experience for all those who have witnessed and who are yet to witness the pujas at these Six Sannidhanams.

SASTHA PREETHI 16-06-2019

Sasthapreethi is a time tested mode of worshipping Lord Dharmasastha in a very religious way by various samoohams and organizations in and around Kerala, and now in all parts of the country and abroad. The religious pooja is given more importance followed by Annadhanam.

The priest invokes Dharma Sastha and His Parivara Devathas on lamps decorated tastefully.  After the detailed puja, the traditional Sastha paattu (Varavu Paattu – inviting Songs) songs are sung. While singing, the traditional upasakas or Sthanakaras of the respective deities gets into a trance and gets the supreme power invoked within them. In General Sastha, Chellapillai, Yakshi and Boothathan are the deities who are invited. These Sthanikas are offered respect by the devotees and upacharas are done to them. They are seated on the wooden plank and are decorated with garland and sandal paste.

They bless the devotees with prasadam and convey the deity's satisfaction in the conduct of the Sasthapreethi. People prostrate before him, get blessed and receive Vibhoothi as prasadam.

Very rarely a Puja of this significance and magnitude can be witnessed and the opportunity for the people to actually participate in the worship. So, the Bhakthas who are taking part in this magnificent event can be assured of obtaining the limitless blessings of Sri MahaSastha and getting all their prayers fulfilled.

May Lord Hariharaputra be with you always, giving you the best of everything.
